End of Year Celebration

The whole school is invited to celebrate the last day of school tomorrow with a fun-filled bash on Orchard grounds! Get ready to boogie to DJ music, bounce around in inflatables, and enjoy some end-of-year cheer with your classmates. This free event is sponsored by Orchard's HSA and runs from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm. Just a reminder, this is not a drop-off event - all students must be accompanied by an adult.

Want to Get Involved?

The Orchard HSA runs events and fundraisers that benefit our amazing school. To help ensure these programs and events can continue each year, please consider volunteering. It's a great way to get involved, meet new people, and be a part of your child’s school experience. There are many volunteer opportunities for next year. Email HSA Vice President & Volunteer Coordinator Vanessa Carr at [email protected] with any questions.

Class Parent Volunteers Needed

Are you interested in making a difference in your child's classroom for the 2024-2025 school year? We're looking for dedicated parents to take on the role of class parent! This role involves some key tasks that support the teacher and classroom. You'll help coordinate sign-up sheets for things like classroom supplies and fun events. Additionally, you'll attend HSA meetings to stay informed about school happenings and then share important updates with the other parents in the class. If you're enthusiastic about getting involved, please email [email protected]. We'll add you to our list of interested candidates. Once class rosters are finalized in August, we'll be in touch to confirm if a class parent spot is available for you.

Red CrossFrom the Health Office:

Please read this important letter from Nurse Caruso regarding medications in the nurse’s office.

It is a district policy to submit an updated physical exam report each school year. Having comprehensive and up-to-date medical information allows our staff to support each student properly.

We are approaching the end of the year and the GW nurse is missing proof of required vaccines from many of our outgoing 5th graders. Please make every effort to get this done and hand them in to the nurse before the summer starts.
