Community Outreach Program

The Community Outreach Program aims to foster a strong relationship between the district, our families, and the community by providing opportunities to come together to learn about trending issues related to the academic, social, and emotional development of today's youth. Through the generous support of the Ridgewood Education Foundation, the Federated Home and School Association, and other grants, the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment coordinates and hosts the Wellbeing Speaker Series.  Guest speakers have included award winning psychologists, best selling authors, international speakers, and consultants and experts in their field, addressing topics ranging from raising happy children, incorporating mindfulness into your family life, developing grit, mentoring children and adolescents through the complexities of the today's digital world, and understanding mental health issues.
